Skiing Marble Mountain – Steady Brook (Humber Valley)
The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 27 and 546 m.
The Marble Mountain ski hill is located in the town of Steady Brook in Newfoundland. It is situated in the Long Range Mountains, on the west coast of the province. It is a popular destination for winter sports. If you want to spend the day skiing or snowboarding, Marble Mountain is the place for you.
Marble Mountain's average snowfall is 16 feet per year. It also has state-of-the-art snowmaking equipment. The mountain also offers a Discover Skiing package that includes a lift ticket, a day-long equipment rental, and an hour-and-a-half lesson. The slopes are open from 10 a.m. until 5 pm. During the winter, the hill's lodge offers a fireplace and the Knotty Pine Lounge.
Located in Steady Brook, Newfoundland, Marble Mountain Ski Resort is part of a regional lift pass system. This pass enables you to ski or snowboard at several mountains. You can purchase the IKON Pass, Epic Pass, and Mountain Collective passes to access multiple mountains. Although Marble Mountain doesn't participate in the Epic or IKON ski pass programs, you can still purchase a lift pass for another mountain. Marble Mountain is serviced by four ski lifts and boasts 225 acres of skiable terrain.
In the 1950s, there were five trails that Johannsen had cut. It also featured a T-bar and four rope tows. Johannsen submitted plans for additional trails in April 1949. But the ski area struggled to stay financially viable.
